The quick and easy way to pay at home and away


Home and away

With your Yorkshire Bank debit card, you can pay for a wide range of goods and services at millions of locations worldwide. Use your card anywhere you see the Mastercard® acceptance mark.

You don't need to tell us when you are travelling abroad, we will monitor your account in the same way as if you were using your card in the UK.

Contactless

Most cards are contactless. If your debit mastercard is contactless, you can pay for items up to the contactless limit without having to enter your PIN. Just touch your card against the contactless card reader when you’re ready to pay. You’ll hear a beep and see a green light on the reader. You’ve paid.

Depositing cash and cheques

You can deposit cash and cheques up to £2000 per day at any Branch deposit ATM using your debit Mastercard contactless card. The single transaction limit is £1000, 25 cheques or 50 notes.

If you exceed these limits the deposit ATM will advise you that you have exceeded the daily transaction or deposit limit.

You can speak to any member of staff who will show you how to use this service.


Identity Check

Online shopping is straightforward with your debit card, and we provide you with a Identity Check to make security that bit more robust.

Cashback

Many shops offer free ‘Purchase with CashBack’ so that you can include up to £100 CashBack^ each time you shop.

^Cash element of purchase with cashback transactions count against the ATM limits.
