Our hub has been designed especially for you, with a wide variety of hints and tips to help you keep your home and contents safe.
With no admin fees for paying monthly, changing your policy or even cancelling it, Yorkshire Bank Home Insurance is trustworthy and transparent.
If you're worried about the impact of coronavirus on your home insurance - or what it might mean for you financially - we're here to help.
It’s easy for other providers to shout about their discounts and short-term deals. But our home cover has substance as well as style - there are no hidden costs lurking around the corner.
You can personalise your cover so you know the important things are insured properly. We offer optional extras and you only pay for what you need. Don’t have a garden? Don’t fork out for the cover. It’s that simple.
* Discount varies by number of years claim free. Maximum discount is 25% for 4 years no claims.
As a new Yorkshire Bank Home Insurance customer, we’ll cover any cancellation cost from your previous insurer up to £100 – as long as your new policy isn’t cancelled within the first 14 days.
To qualify for the refund, your new policy must be in the same name as the policy being cancelled. And the type of cover - such as combined building & contents – also has to be the same. The switcher claims form (PDF, link opens in a new window) must be submitted no later than 90 days after the cancellation charge from your previous policy with the accompanying evidence.
To make a claim, complete the form as per the instructions and email to cancellation.refund@uk.rsagroup.com or post to RSA, Level 2, Newhall Place, Old Hall Street, Liverpool, L69 3EN.

Practical guidance and how to make a claim
[1] Based on all Clydesdale Bank Home Insurance policies renewed between October 15 and August 19.
[2] For example, if you qualify for both 10% new customer discount and 25% 4 years no claims discount, then 10% will be applied first to the original quote. The additional 25% reduction will then be applied to the discounted total e.g. if quote was £100, 10% discount brings total to £90 minus 25% = final price of £67.50.
Working out what cover to get can often leave you with more questions than answers.
That’s why we’ve created a handy interactive tool which uses real examples of things you may have in your home. It’ll help you understand what our additional cover options include. And our simple tool will guide you to the cover you need and what else you might want to think about.
When you click on the hotspots, our tool will tell you what to buy so that you’re covered.
If something were to happen to your plumbing, your heating or you need mice removed, wouldn’t you want access to 24-hour emergency repair services to make your home safe and secure? Simply click on the mouse in the kitchen to see how easy it is.
You may still have a few questions after using our tool. If you do, we’re always happy to chat about home insurance - just pop into your local branch or call 0800 197 1609.
