Take the money health check which will give you some tips for a healthier financial lifestyle - now and in the future. The health check aims to help you identify your financial needs and make your financial decisions.

The debt test aims to help you find out whether you have - or are likely to have - problems with borrowing. It also has tips on what to do if you find yourself in difficulties.

Budget planner

Use the budget planner to work out what money you've got coming in against your outgoings.
The budget planner will help you get started. But do make sure you include all the income and expenditure particular to your circumstances.

Loan calculator

You can use this loan calculator to work out what your monthly repayments would be for various loan amounts, repayment periods and annual interest rates. This could help you decide whether or not you can afford to take a loan out, and also to compare how much you would actually be paying back with different offers you might be considering.

Check that the firm you are dealing with is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, or is the agent of an authorised firm, before you do business with them.
