Warrington-based Rosevilla Residential Home has agreed a seven-figure funding package with Yorkshire Bank. The funding will help the family-owned business to expand and accommodate more residents.
The home currently accommodates 35 residents, and this latest funding package will support a further 7-bedroom extension to the home. The family own a plot of land nearby, and have already secured planning permission for a 30-bed extension in the future. The initial extension will create 4 full-time and 6 part-time jobs, while the future extension is expected to create a further 34 new jobs.
The home was opened by the Nesarajah family, when the local Winwick specialist hospital closed its doors. The new funding coincides with the home’s 30th year trading anniversary. The 10-bedroomed property was purchased to become a residential care home facility, drawing upon the medical backgrounds of the Nesarajahs. Rosevilla is now run primarily by Peter Nesarajah, his wife Francis and his mother, Victoria.
Rosevilla is well-regarded within the community and works closely with the local authorities and Chamber of Commerce. The home is usually at 100% capacity, so there should be plenty of demand for the new beds once they’re installed.
Peter Nesarajah, Manager at Rosevilla, commented: “It is fantastic to be able to grow the home and continue offering such an important service to our community. The home is incredibly friendly and comforting, with staff who have worked here for a long time, which speaks volumes to the atmosphere that we have encouraged here. We are focused on serving the community in our family run environment and we want to continue to provide care at framework costs without any top up.”
Marc De Brabander, Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking, Yorkshire Bank, said: “We are thrilled to be able to support such a positive and ambitious firm. It is extremely rewarding to know that we’ve been able to play a part in helping the Nesarajah family to deliver such an incredible facility for the local community.”
