Yorkshire Bank Unveils Upgraded Branch in Barnsley

Yorkshire Bank has unveiled its newly upgraded branch in Barnsley.

The improvements to the branch, which is based in Peel Square, are part of a £45 million investment programme by the Bank to upgrade facilities to meet changing customer needs. The programme includes a UK-wide programme of branch relocations and refits plus improved and new mobile and internet banking services.

The branch has undergone a complete redesign and now houses an open plan banking hall, a new reception pod, three counter positions, five private interview rooms and two open consultation interview areas.

Mike Young, Branch Manager, said: “We are delighted with our newly formatted branch which underlines our commitment to Barnsley. We will continue providing the great personal service our customers expect whilst offering an enjoyable place to do banking.”

This is a fantastic new format branch in Barnsley and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the local community from our modern new home.”

The Barnsley branch is open from 9:15am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 9:15am to 1:15pm on Saturday.
