Air Space to Reach New Heights with Bank Support

14 August 2015

The UK’s leading indoor trampolines operator, Air Space, is set to launch a number of new sites across the country after agreeing a significant funding package with Clydesdale Bank.

Air Space, which opened its first site near Glasgow in November 2014, is planning a national rollout to take place over the next two years.

Those plans are being supported by Clydesdale Bank, which provided funding for the Glasgow site through Air Space’s parent company, Adventure Forest Limited, which also owns and operates the Go Ape high ropes brand.

This latest deal was led by Johnny Rowe, Senior Director within Clydesdale Bank’s Specialist and Acquisition Finance team in London.

The funding will be used by Air Space to establish prime locations for its new sites in key catchment areas across the UK. The operator’s existing site is one of the largest indoor trampoline parks in Europe and occupies more than 33,000 sq. ft.

All of the parks will deliver the full Air Space experience, with more than 100 interconnected trampolines providing a huge spring-loaded urban playground. Visitors will be able to enjoy freestyle jumping, or take part in a game of dodgeball, basketball or football – all on super-sprung pitches.

William Galbraith, Operations Director at Air Space, commented: “Having established a working relationship over many years, Clydesdale are very familiar with our ability to produce market leading leisure concepts. We’re delighted that they are supporting us and aiding the growth of our new venture, Air Space.”

Johnny Rowe, Senior Director within Clydesdale Bank’s Specialist and Acquisition Finance team, said: “We have worked with Adventure Forest Limited on a number of projects in recent years and are pleased to be supporting the significant expansion of Air Space across the UK.

“Clydesdale Bank’s support is founded on Adventure Forest’s strength and breadth of management, coupled with a robust track record of delivering on positive customer experiences and financial performance.”
