Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks Announce £150 Current Account Switching Offer

Current Account customers switching to Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks will benefit from £150, the banks announced today (Monday 17th November).

Customers will benefit from the offer when they switch their main bank relationship to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Banks using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).

The offer is available to new customers who hold a current account with another bank or building society as well as existing Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks customers**. In order to qualify for the offer customers must complete a full switch using CASS. This includes the closure of their account with another bank or building society. As part of the switch the Banks will take care of all existing payment arrangements including direct debits, standing orders and credits.

To qualify for the £150 cash incentive a minimum of £1,000 must be credited to the new Clydesdale or Yorkshire Banks Current Account each month and the first £1000 credit should be made within 31 days of the switch completion. This excludes any balance transferred as part of the switch.

Steve Fletcher, Head of Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks Retail Network, said: “The Current Account Switch Service makes moving your current account to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank simple and hassle free.

“We have a range of current accounts to suit individual needs and requirements and once the switch is completed we will credit your account with £150 as a thank you for choosing to switch to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank.”

The current account switch offer is available from 17th November 2014 to 28th February 2015. A full switch through CASS must be initiated by 28th February 2015.
