A new head has been appointed to Yorkshire Bank’s South Yorkshire Business and Private Banking Centre, Sheffield
Steve Tweedle, 45, is managing a team delivering a wide range of business and private banking services including business loans and working capital funding, asset and invoice finance, treasury, international, payments, wealth management and private banking to businesses and individuals throughout Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.

South Yorkshire Business and Private Banking Centre supports small and medium-sized businesses and will also provides access to the £1bn Yorkshire Bank Business Expansion fund.
Steve Tweedle joined Yorkshire Bank in 1983 and has worked his way up through various roles. He has been based in Sheffield since 1998, focusing largely on business development in which he lead the South Yorkshire Team. He is also a director of South Yorkshire International Trade Forum and provides support to the Big Challenge initiative which encourages entrepreneurship in secondary schools throughout Sheffield.
He said: “South Yorkshire’s strong manufacturing base, expanding export trade and increasingly dynamic and innovative culture gives it an excellent opportunity to weather the current economic turbulence. This will help create a strong platform for long-term sustained growth as the economy slowly recovers. I look forward to supporting existing and new customers with their plans.”
