A Leeds based recruitment firm is aiming to more than double its workforce and extend its business base after securing a new loan facility from Yorkshire Bank.
GrassGreener Group™ comprises a team of highly skilled, expert recruitment executives with extensive experience in sales and senior management placements. More than 40% of the firm’s business comes from overseas, including Europe, the Far East, the United States and Canada. Of the candidates they identify for clients, 80% are not registered with other recruitment companies and are not actively seeking new employment.
GrassGreener Group™ has secured Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) funding from Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Leeds along with matched funding from Finance Yorkshire. The loan is the fourth EFG facility the company has been granted by the Bank, which has helped to create 10 jobs since 2007. The new loan facility will help create a further 15 jobs by 2015.
Plamen Ivanoff, Executive Chairman at GrassGreener Group™, said: “We expect the next two years to mark a period of rapid expansion.
“We plan on more than doubling our workforce which will help us to increase our activity in the recruitment sector both in the UK and international markets.
“The continued support of Yorkshire Bank has enabled us to take forward our plans at a time when the availability of finance was the catalyst needed to drive forward our business plan.”
The company uses an innovative, award-winning online platform that scientifically measures the cultural and behavioural fit of candidates while analysing their practical competencies and experience. Results suggest 96% of placed candidates stay in long term employment.
David Maybury, Head of Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Leeds, said: “GrassGreener Group™ is a company with a clear business plan and is already enjoying a sustained period of growth.
“Yorkshire Bank is pleased to have supported the company since its launch and looks forward to continuing to develop our relationship in the coming years.”
Yorkshire Bank launched a £1 billion Business Expansion Fund last autumn as part of its support for growing businesses.
