England rugby union coach Mike Catt will be discussing the British and Irish Lions tour to a packed audience at Yorkshire Bank in Birmingham.
The former British and Irish Lion, who played on the tour to South Africa in 2007 and to Australia four years later, will be sharing his thoughts on the current trip to Australia at Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Temple Row on Tuesday, June 18.
The Yorkshire Bank ambassador, who played for England at full-back, fly-half, inside centre and wing for England, will also be answering questions from the 65-strong audience.
Mandeep Rajput, manager of private banking at Yorkshire Bank in Birmingham, said An Audience with Mike Catt was proving to be a popular event.
“Mike is a fantastic sporting legend and Yorkshire Bank ambassador who had a pivotal part to play in England winning the World Cup in 2003,” he said.
“His visit to Birmingham is particularly timely since the Lions will have played earlier that day on June 18 against ACT Brumbies and it is just four days before the first Test against Australia in Brisbane.
“Mike will be relaying his thoughts on the current squad before taking part in a Questions and Answers session.
“We were hoping to attract around 40 lawyers, accountants and surveyors from the Birmingham professionals sector but we have already have 65 acceptances so it promises to be an entertaining evening.”
