A Liverpool-based solicitors practice has posted record profits and is expanding to Manchester and London, with help from Yorkshire Bank.
Adjust Law Group, founded in 2006 by Colin Downie, has opened a new office in Sale, Greater Manchester and is recruiting 20 new employees as it looks to build upon its most successful year-to-date.
The business recorded a turnover of £1.5 million in the last financial year and anticipates further expansion taking offices in London later this year.
Adjust Law currently employs 30 people and works with over 10,000 clients in the UK.
Colin Downie, chief executive officer, said: “I have been dealing with the private banking team at Yorkshire Bank for many years and because of their ability to understand my business and meet my needs, I decided to move across my full business banking operations.
“The business is at the start of an exceptional growth period and the new office, with help from the Yorkshire Bank private and business banking teams, has helped underpin this successful expansion.”
Lisa Power, private partner at Yorkshire Bank’s Liverpool Financial Solutions Centre, said: “I have known Colin for a long time and have helped him with his personal finances, as well as taking a keen interest in the success of Adjust Law. The company has gone from strength-to-strength since it started and the expansion is just the next step towards a very successful future.”
