Yorkshire Bank Stages Charity Shopping Night

YORKSHIRE Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Blackburn is staging a ladies shopping and networking night in aid of national charity Help the Hospices.

The bank, based on Shadsworth Business Park, is holding the summer essentials themed evening for local professionals and customers on Thursday, June 18, starting at 5.30pm.

During the night guests will enjoy drinks and nibbles as well as the opportunity to buy handbags, jewellery and a range of other summer essentials.

Yorkshire Bank will match whatever is raised on the night and the proceeds will be shared between Help the Hospices, the bank’s chosen charity partner, and Pendleside Hospice and East Lancashire Hospice.

Event organiser Sherryl Turner, a deposit specialist at Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Blackburn, said: “The ladies evening aims to bring together local professionals and clients for a fun evening of shopping and networking, whilst at the same time raising much needed funds to support the vital work of Help the Hospices, Pendleside Hospice and East Lancashire Hospice.”

Last year Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Blackburn staged a similar fundraising handbag and jewellery party, which raised £1,130 for East Lancashire Hospice, Pendleside Hospice and Help the Hospices.
