Yorkshire Bank Launches Fee Free Mortgage Offer

6/1/2009

Yorkshire Bank is helping to get the New Year off to a good start for homeowners.

The Bank is waiving arrangement fees for new customers looking to re-mortgage. The offer – which has just launched - is available until Friday 13th February 2009.

A similar offer by Yorkshire and its sister organisation Clydesdale Bank in August 2008 was welcomed by homeowners across the UK.

In this latest offer, the Bank is waiving arrangement fees on a range of its fixed rate, offset and flexible payment mortgages for a limited time. This could mean a saving of up to £999 which is the current re-mortgage arrangement fee for some products. See table of examples below.

In addition, customers re-mortgaging from another lender won’t have to pay any legal or valuation fees providing their mortgage is over £30,000 and they use Yorkshire Bank’s appointed solicitors.

Yorkshire Bank was recently named “Best Regional Mortgage Lender” by Your Mortgage magazine for the tenth time and remains committed to meeting the needs of its customers. Its parent company National Australia Group is one of only a dozen in the world which has AA status.

Gary Lumby, Head of Retail for Yorkshire Bank said: "At Yorkshire Bank we are focused on adapting to changing market conditions to ensure that we continue to deliver value for money products and the high level of service that our customers have grown to expect.

"Fewer people are moving home but many are looking to re-mortgage to ensure they are benefiting from the best mortgage. Our latest fee free mortgage underlines our commitment to supporting our customers and we will work with them to find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs."
