NORTH EAST businesses will get a chance to discuss the prospects for the economy with a top market commentator at a free breakfast seminar this month.
UK economist and head of market strategies for Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks, Nick Parsons, will speak at the breakfast seminar at St James Park, Newcastle, organised by Yorkshire Bank’s Newcastle Financial Solutions Centre (FSC), Quayside, on May 20.
Nick Parsons, who has more than 25 years’ experience in global money markets and joined NabCapital, part of National Australia Bank which owns Yorkshire Bank, two years ago, is a regular commentator to CNBC, BBC and Bloomberg News and is a member of the Sky TV Money Panel.
More than 60 Yorkshire Bank members in the North East including manufacturing, transport, charity and professional services organisations are to attend the seminar.
Yorkshire Bank’s Newcastle FSC has 41 staff in multi-discipline teams encompassing corporate banking, private wealth management, treasury services and credit supporting businesses and individuals across Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Co Durham.
