Yorkshire Bank appoints new business manager

01/09/07

In response to increasing demand from a thriving business community, the UK's best performing business bank has appointed a business manager to its Wolverhampton and Dudley branch.

Ian Jones has been recruited into the role to raise the bank's profile along with maintaining a portfolio of existing small business customers.

Ian, formerly a business development manager with Bank of Scotland, began his career in personal banking and transferred to business banking six years ago.

Tina Eyre, area business manager for small businesses for the South-West region, said: "The fact that we are able to recruit high calibre people such as Ian emphasises what an exciting time this is for us in Wolverhampton and Dudley."

Ian said: "I am looking forward to working with and looking after the needs of small business customers in Wolverhampton and Dudley.

"Yorkshire Bank is forward thinking and has an open culture, which puts a strong focus on putting customers first and delivering a banking proposition that fits their needs. We are able to deliver 'one-stop' banking solutions locally, which is what customers tell us is important to them."
The Yorkshire branch in Wolverhampton houses business managers such as Ian to serve both business and personal banking needs.
