Yorkshire Bank is fully supportive of the UK government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, set up to provide accommodation in the UK to Ukrainian refugees and their immediate family members.
If you would like to participate, you can register your interest on the government’s webpage.
We recommend that you carefully consider taking part in the scheme, ensuring your mortgage remains affordable to you and that you keep up to date with your mortgage payments.
Please read the governments Homes for Ukraine frequently asked questions for further support and details.
To help make the process as simple as possible, we do not require our mortgage customers to notify us.
If you are allowing Ukrainian refugees to reside in your residential property, there’s no need to request consent to let. If you have a Help to Buy or Shared Ownership agreement, it is recommended that you inform your scheme provider if you are participating in the scheme.
As more information is shared, we will continue to update our website.
