Your brand new Internet Banking is here!

A smooth transition

Here at Yorkshire bank we’re always listening to your feedback – and that’s why we developed a brand new Internet Banking service that will make it easier to manage your money anywhere, anytime.

With a modern look and feel, easier navigation and new features, the new system will roll out alongside the existing Internet Banking system.

The good news is your login details will stay exactly the same so you can get started as soon as it launches.

This service may be temporarily unavailable during periods of routine maintenance.

Here are some of the major features we’ve added or improved

Brand-new look

Your Internet Banking service will be easier to use with a more contemporary feel, where you can customise your homepage to prioritise the accounts you use the most.

Searchable transactions

Quickly find the transaction you’re looking for by searching for a name, company or date, now available with more transaction history.

Easier payment authorisation

We’ve increased payment limits and you’ll be able to authorise all required payments using the most up-to-date version of the mobile app.

Enhanced customer support

Get help via enhanced live chat and the ability to share your screen with a member of our team so they can guide you if you get stuck.

Digital statements

You’ll be able to switch off paper statements and go digital on eligible accounts.

Mobile alerts

Set up and manage SMS alerts for your accounts so you're always up to date with your balance.

New important changes

We’ve made some exciting new changes to help you make the most of internet banking.

If you only have a joint account and can't see your payees

When you set up the people you pay (payees) from your joint account using the mobile app or new Internet Banking, then all account holders will be able to see, amend and cancel them. If you've set up payees on the existing Internet Banking service and you only have a joint account, you won’t be able to see them on the new version of the mobile app or Internet Banking.

However, you can now select to transfer some or all of your payees over from existing Internet Banking, to do this log into new Internet Banking, go to ‘Move money’ and click on ‘Manage your payees’. You will see the option to transfer your payees, then click on ‘OK, get started’. You will be presented with a list of payees that you’ve paid in the last 12 months that are available to transfer. Select the payees you want to transfer and click on ‘Transfer payees now.’ This will transfer your payees from existing internet banking.

Please note that any payees you transfer will be visible to other account holders on your joint account.

If you export data on your business account

You can now export your account transactions by selecting the account tile and under the Account menu click on Export transactions, this will allow you to select a date range and download your transactions as a CSV file. When you open the file the columns will be:

A: Date of transaction

B: Transaction amount

C: Balance

D: Currency

E: Transaction type and description.

If you need to check the status of a payment

To check the status of a payment you made using internet or mobile banking, select the 'Payment Status and History' option which can be found in any eligible account menu after clicking on the Account tile, or you can find it in 'Move Money' under 'Quick Links'. Only one-off immediate payments and transfers made from new Internet Banking since 1 January 2018 will be visible at this time. Remember future dated payments can be found under scheduled payments and will not be visible in this section.

Other important changes

While you’re getting used to the handy new features, there’s a couple of things you won’t be able to do straight away.

If you use nicknames

Any account nicknames you’ve set up will transfer over to new Internet Banking, but you won’t be able to amend them or create new ones until we switch off the existing version.

Getting Started

When you login for the first time we will ask you to read and accept our most up to date digital terms and conditions. On the first visit to our new Internet Banking service you will need to provide a valid email address so we can send you a copy of them. You won't be able to continue onto the new service without an email address that works.

Login to existing Internet Banking

This service may be temporarily unavailable during periods of routine maintenance, including a 20 minute period commencing 23:59 Monday to Friday.
