  • A genuine bank or organisation will never cold call you and ask you to confirm your PIN, full password or to move money to a " safe " or " secure " account for fraud reasons.
  • Stay in control - avoid letting anyone you do not know have access to your computer or devices , especially remotely , even if they cold call you and advise that your details have been compromised or that you have a virus on your equipment.
  • Never share a one time passcode (OTP ) delivered by text with anyone , not even a bank employee. If you are called by anyone (even if they say they are calling from the Bank ) asking you to share an OTP, hang up immediately and call the bank using a trusted number.
