Angstrom Engineering manufactures press tooling for a number of components including trim for premium sector vehicles, as well as many parts hidden under the bonnet and body. The firm boasts an impressive customer base having worked on a number of high-profile projects, which include the Rolls Royce Wraith dashboard, Range Rover speaker grills and seat components for the Porsche 918 hypercar.
With Bank funding, the firm plans to grow its team of 14 and to invest in new equipment over the next 12 months. Graham Hill, Director of Angstrom Engineering has also set his sights on ‘being much more innovative in the coming years and being able to rival the Far East’.
Graham, who founded Angstrom Engineering Ltd in 2010, having worked at a press tooling manufacturer for 20 years, chose to switch his banking to receive a more personal and flexible service. Peter Brooke, his Relationship Manager, based in Birmingham arranged the firm’s flexible finance facility.
Graham said “I’ve spoken to Peter more in the first two months than I spoke to my previous bank during our entire business relationship. He has taken the time to really understand our organisation and what areas I would like to focus on in the future.”
Meg Salt, Automotive Director, commented “Graham has shown the success that can be achieved when an individual with a wealth of experience chooses to branch out on their own”. Angstrom Engineering Ltd has built relationships with a number of world-leading automotive companies, as well as a strong relationship with the local business community. We are proud to support their growth plans”.
